SDG 1

Overall, VASUF technical services and solutions will help poverty reduction by increasing agricultural productivity, value addition, and food processing thus reducing costs, and promoting diversification, all of which can help to increase the income and resilience of smallholder farmers and entrepreneurs.

We believe these crucial technical services that VASUF offers will ensure we have quality farm harvests and safe food products from our local factories that protect what we value mostthe health of our families, the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the future of our children and generations to come.

sdg 4

We believe these crucial technical services that VASUF offers will induce development and bring massive impact by ensuring sustained incomes to farmers, creating long-term employment opportunities in the food factories set up in our villages, and spurring economic growth.

sdg 5

VASUF  is committed to providing the highest quality services to farmers and food processors around the world; So that we can have responsible production and consumption of our farm harvests and quality food products; FARM TO TABLE.

sdg 6

Traditional farming practices can contribute to soil erosion and chemicals and nutrient runoff that can have negative impacts on aquatic ecosystems. VASUF is committed to training farmers on best agronomic practices that require less fertilizer and water, reducing the environmental impact of crop production, and protecting aquatic ecosystems.

sdg 7

Africa is the most vulnerable continent to climate change impacts under all climate scenarios above 1.5 degrees Celsius. Despite having contributed the least to global warming and having the lowest emissions, Africa faces exponential collateral damage, posing systemic risks to its economies, infrastructure investments, water and food systems, public health, agriculture, and livelihoods, threatening to undo its modest development gains and slip into higher levels of extreme poverty. VASUF is committed to Climate-smart agriculture (CSA) ( an integrated approach to managing landscapes—cropland, livestock, forests, and fisheries—that addresses the interlinked challenges of food security and accelerating climate change)

SDG 8

VASUF will roll out and implement a seed systems strategy that will lead to the usage of quality-certified seeds that require fewer resources and are more resistant to pests and diseases. This way, VASUF can promote more sustainable and resilient land use practices that can protect soil health and promote biodiversity. Sustainable farm production practices can help to reduce the need for agricultural chemicals, which can have negative impacts on pollinators and other wildlife.
